As we wrap up 2025, we want to take a moment to say thank you. This year’s progress was driven by you: the builders, operators, teams, and innovators who rely on Knack to run your businesses.

Your feedback shaped what we released, your creativity pushed us to think bigger, and your trust is what makes this community special.

Here’s a look back at everything we built together this year.

This October, we launched our biggest update yet: Knack 2.0, transforming how users experience Knack from the ground up. 

Knack 2.0 introduced:

• Our new AI App Builder — Allowing you to create and manage a live, production-ready app through simple AI conversations.
• Next-Gen Apps — A modernized, streamlined interface and more intuitive experience for builders and end-users.

⚡ Flows: Automate Everything — Inside & Beyond Knack

Earlier this year, we released Knack Flows — a built-in automation engine that connects your data, triggers actions, and keeps everything in sync across Knack and 500+ external tools, including ChatGPT, Google Workspace, Slack, and DocuSign.

Flows now includes:

• Canvas Mode — Design workflows visually using drag-and-drop logic.
• Knack-to-Knack automation — Sync tables, update records, and coordinate workflows across all your Knack apps.
• Template Flows — Start faster with pre-built automation blueprints.

Flows has become one of the most impactful features across our customer base this year — reducing SaaS spend, enabling thousands of automations, and helping teams run more efficient operations.

🔧 Key App Experience Updates

2025 also brought a series of updates that strengthened security, customization, and branding across Knack apps.

• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) — A major security upgrade now available to all Pro plans and above,  adding an additional layer of protection for builder accounts and app users. 
• Custom Domains — Give your apps a fully branded experience by hosting them on your own domain name.
• Custom JavaScript for Next-Gen Apps — Extend, customize, and tailor your app’s behavior while staying fully within the next-gen Knack framework.
