You can now test your Knack app as any user or role — directly from the builder — without logging in separately, changing passwords, or affecting the live app experience. That means you can immediately validate exactly what a teacher, student, admin, customer, or public user sees before anything goes live. Now Available: AI can create Login and Role-based pages — Knack AI can now generate specific pages for each role as part of your initial app build, and it can create and edit login pages as you continue building your app. Want "AI Builder" access for your account? Request it here.
Now Available: Language selection for your Live App (Next-Gen) — In Next-Gen, you can now choose from 15+ languages including Spanish, German, French and more. Want a language we don't have yet? Let our Support team know and we'll be happy to add it.
Now Available: Source filters for Pivot Tables (Next-Gen) — Pivot Tables now support source filters, making it easier to control exactly which data is included in your reports. Stay tuned for more functionality enhancements coming soon to Pivot Tables.
Now Available: System Fields in each table — Three new system fields are available in all apps (Next-Gen and Classic): Record ID, Created On, and Updated On. Check out the Knowledge Base article to learn how to start using them
Coming Soon: Customizable column widths in Live Apps — Soon you'll be able adjust column widths on table elements in pages of your Live App for better readability and layout control. Stay tuned for more launch updates
